I dug this thin stamped brass shield. It's hard to tell with the corrosion but I think it's uniface. It't about as tall as a U.S. Quarter. Starburst design or similar in the center it seems, and writing around the top and bottom (a date, bottom center
?). I'd love to have some help on this one. Everything dug in this field was mid-1800s, everything dating 1840-70.
