✅ SOLVED Stamped arrowheads on 1853 seated half dime

Hi Folks!

I was given this 1853 seated liberty half dime as a gift and noticed 3 arrowheads stamped on the front of Liberty's dress. I'm fairly certain they're not part of the die. Any information would be great! Thanks everyone!

Wow!! Very cool!! Thank you for the info! That makes sense given the history that Congress authorized almost 7% silver reduction in coinage in 1853.
