st. patty's day finds

I figured since it is st. patty's day we should have a thread to show our finds. Maybe some of us Micks will finally be able to answer that age old question, Where's me pot 'o gold?

Being Irish myself I am going to test the luck "o the Irish and take my ACE 250 out for the first time to that fairgrounds up the hill from me, snow has been melting and the weather should be great.

Wish me luck and maybe I will find a little traesure and perhaps a 4 leaf clover. I just gave the wife an emerald ring for her B-day so I should be able to sneak out for a while with no problem, beats getting drunk,lol

Hey, I'm a irish too, and about the size of a leprechaun. I think I'll go look for that pot o gold, I know I left it around here somewhere!

We have been trying catch one of those little guys for a few years now. They are very quick...
I helped my nephew make this Leprechaun trap for school a few years back. We have set it almost every year, but they keep getting the GOLD... The way you set it, its to have a string threaded from the basket on top, down to the pot of gold. If anyone, or anything tries to get the gold, it releases the string causing the basket to drop. As you can see in the pic, the pot is empty. They done cleaned it out again this year. I think we're going to have to work on the trigger a little more.?

I keep trying to find that pot of gold but every time I dig at the target that leprechaun-artist moves the gold! HH Happy St. Patricks Day! Drink your green beer, but don't wee on the blarney stone!

I didn't make it to the fairgrounds today, maybe this weekend. I did however get to do some detrecting around my apartment. The ground was still pretty frozen. I was getting alot of good signals. most were about 6" deep. I found one piece of #9 steel wire that I could not pull out, about 30 pieces of foil from wrappers and a 1980 penny. I figured there would be alot of junk in the ground but I wanted some practice. No pot o' gold today but I did have fun.

Me and my brother wanted to catch the Easter bunny one time so we dug a big hole on the path leading up to the house and covered it with sticks and leaves. When my dad got home from work he almost broke his leg. Thought he was gonna kill us. Just reminds me of Leon's trap. HH.
