This past week I was in St Louis, MO for business, of course I took my detector .
Was only able to go out in the evenings, however it was never hard to find a neighborhood park.
Totals for the week 113 coins (nothing old) for $7.02. 1 gold ring 10KP (plated ) with 4 diamonds (I doubt it) chips, a cheap silver ring with turquoise, 1 earring looks like it was gold plated and a bunch of other stuff. I found an area where they had torn down a bunch of homes (northwest of the airport) to make room for the airport. I talked to the guy posting NO TRESPASSING signs and he said it was fine to detect all I wanted the signs were for people dumping trash back in there. The down side there were LOTS of pieces of building material in the ground. There was one old house (late 1800's) still standing (on Fee Fee rd south of McDonnell, left side of road) that the airport owns if you live near there you may want to try around that home. I went around it quickly found 1 clad penny. There's even an old well in the back. The nice thing was 90% of the vacant lots were mowed .
