during the fall/winter look for the islands/river banks but be warned MDNR is telling everyone that if you find something leave it where it lays. they will comeout and retreive it.verse your self on the antiqites law.know whats allowed and whats not cause if your out there doing your thing, sooner or latter you will be challenged.
