Got out this morning and drove about 30 minutes to a school I had not hunted before . As soon as I started the clad was everywhere ! I new silver was coming and it did ! I had two target next to each other , one was a +86 and the other was a +77 . I thought a quarter and a dime . The +77 was a dime but the +86 was a sweet silver heart pendent made by Tiffany & Co. . Then about an hour later I had a target that was all over the place . It was +35 , +47 , +68 . I thought I would check it out , silver ring ! It has a break in the back and that is why it didn't come up like silver . It's a cool Sssssssssilver snake ring :laughing7: . Next good find was a +91 . It turned out to be a large copper coin from the Sutter's Fort state park here in California . After that I started hunting close to the black top . I had a nice sounding +72 , silver ring . Looks old and has tiny diamonds on it . In the last half hour of the hunt I had a strong +35 at 3 inches . I was very happy to see ring number three for the hunt :icon_thumright: . It is a silver plated one with a blue stone . Before I closed up the hole I checked it with my probe , another target ! It was a +68 and to my surprise it was another ring in the same hole ! This one is also plated and has a larger clear fake diamond . These rings bring my total for the year to #126  . Total clad for three hours was $11.94 .

Fantastic!

Awesome bunch of finds.
What are you man, some kind of a ring magnet??
I got # 15 today and thought it was a real milestone until I saw your thread!! Damn.

Congrats on all of that silver and the new additions to your ring count.

Fine hunt there, need some good silver or any silver out here ! Thought I might have gotten some yesterday but it was a Steel-clad 1976 Canada dime and also had a Bling pot-metal B with paste stones on a broken necklace. Did get three wheats and a couple of two quarter digs that was as good as it got today. My totals for today was 10 quarters 9 dimes and 15 nickels 1 heart junk ring and 1 weird purple pin pretty decent for out here,oh and a sheet of lead, have no clue what that would get used for !

Congrats on the nice fins how can you tell if the rings are plated.

Usually the plating gets holes and the base metal shows through, either from wear prior to drop or when dug or just from in ground chemical reaction (which finds holes the naked eye cannot see even). Usually examining the ring with a 10x loupe will show base metal color which is different from the plating color.

Still the king of rings! Congrats!

Most of the rings I' m finding were attached to cans at one time! Lol!
