Yesterday afternoon, I dug a Cracker-Jack Tootsie-toy squirrel! Its my second Cracker Jack toy in about a week. I dug a John Quincy Adams mystery club token a week or so ago and never got around to posting it (until now).

Then in the evening yesterday I dug what appears to be a large cent. Maybe a braided hair cent? I don't know much about them, they pre-date this area by a few decades. Its pretty toasted but I can make out some faint details on the front. Finally, today I dug a Rosie.

GOD Bless

Chris

Now we're metal detecting. Congrats

Nice finds. A little electrolysis might bring out some details on the LC. It can't hurt it.

Cool token ... I love finding tokens

Nothing like unearthing your namesake. Nice largie too!

Isn't that ironic, about finding a squirrel ? Your Cracker Jack token was inserted in boxes during 1933 - 34. Yours is in nice shape for being aluminum.

Now you have a detecting partner!
Congrats on the silver, wheat and the LC, nice save! It wouldn't have lasted much longer.
