hey everyone, sry i didn't post sooner i was being lazy. got out with Jer this past weekend to go scan one of our old detecting spots to see if anything turned up since the last visit. alot more started to turn up for Jer when we stepped into a grass strip on the side of the old road and he hit a small area that coughed up a small cache of coins. it was nice to see that standing liberty.
i got 4 wheat's, 3 from the teens, an old cuff link, a couple nice lipstick tubes, and some relics. was fairly slow as expected but there is never silence through the headphones...

thanks for looking... HH Lance

More nice stuff, as usual Lance. Those wheaties look pretty beat, but they're still nice to find. Nice finds!!

Great stuff Lance!!

;)

Hey Lance. Can't always score big. At least you got some wheats. And I bet you got excited when Jer showed you the standing liberty. It always motivates me more when my detecting partner finds something good.

good luck....this weekend is looking good.

thanks everyone, the wheat's are, two 1918's, a 1916, and a 44'.

the park that we were hunting just didn't have the best ground and it chews the coins up. basically everything except silver and finds that were in spots that didn't see alot of rain.

i was right next to Jer when he plucked those quarters. it really is motivation. after he dug that i started to remove every piece of garbage to try and locate something but came up short.

thanks for looking and repling... HH Lance

Ahh, the old harmonica reeds. Just got some from the park, myself. I wonder how many gajillion harmonicas were made in the old days and ended up in the ground? I've never found a whole one- just those reeds.

thanks everyone. there are a ton of those reeds...

take it easy, Lance
