Probably found close to a hundred square nails near the blacksmith shop site today, but also turned up a stone projectile point.

Thanks for the nail info. Although I call them square, most of them are rectangular in cross section. Some of the bigger ones look like they may have been hammered on.

As vpnavy suggested, your nail finds date from the mid-late 19thc.

Congrats on the stone projectile point find, I'm still looking for one of those babies. :laughing7:

Great point thats a cool one. Always like finding square nails on my hunts then I know the spot is old.
