Does it fit your shoe/boot or is it too small? What does it measure at its widest point? Neat find, Breezie

fits over my bare foot with an inch on each side to spare, width at the top of spur by the strap is 3 1/2 inchs, length from top of

spur down to wheel is just under 6 inch's

Look them over closely for makers mark , some are marked some are not. north and judd used an anchor mark some others just initials. Other than that they can be roughly dated by the size of the rowel 20 or 21 points??
and length of neck.
My guess is late 19th century.

found it around 1976 so you think it was made close to that date then, looks just like the day we found it
