I agree. looks like it but the seal is missing. also the handle.

I have seen them without the handle. You would put the paper in and push down with the side of your hand.

Not 100% sure,but thats the closest thing i remember seeing that looks like it.

Yep, you guys are correct. It is the devise by which you make the corporate seal on your stock shares and other documents. The hole you see is where the seal fits into the press. I have incorporated a large number of corporations and we always provide those with the paperwork.

I think they are called "Notory Seal"s.
For notory public use.
I once had the opportunity to get my notory license but did not.

In addition to a Notary Seal, one other idea is a Button Press to make buttons or badges.

I have a corporate seal and I'm looking at the parts and a Notary/Corporate seal is what it is. One cavity takes a brass imprint and the opposite cavity is a very hard composite.

Looks like True_Metal gets the prize.

Shoot. Is that what its for? All this time I have been squeezing garlic with mine! :D :wink: :wink:
