I went to South Padre island with my family for spring break and was able to go hunt for an hour or so. I got to the beach and there was a group of drunk collage kids finishing up a beach party and going back to there hotel. I did the polite thing and sat there and watched the waves and some of the pretty girls go by, until the beach was empty then hurried over to where they were having the party and found quite a bit of clad coins. the funny thing is that in one of the coin spills was a 1961 silver dime.
