Need more info on it. Like where was it found or it is lite or heavy. These type of things are needed for a guess. I myself want it if you dont. That is one cool looking rock.

Heavy for its size....found in the caprock area of the permian basin in Texas an hour south of Lubbock. Salmon colored rock and scarlet spots. I will check out your artifacts....I am a collector of sorts. Thank you in advance for venturing a guess.

Cool I have rocks also. Mostly Chert Cobbles and Chert Nodules. I am guessing yours is going to be a type of flint

Rock, thank you for your reply. flint? really? amazing! i have never seen such defined spots on flint. and to luck upon a salmon/peach color truly has to be pure luck. if you would like to email directly, feel free. [email protected] just throw me a line if you are still interested. i also have a few fossils that are noteworthy.
thanks,
