Found these in zip lock bag of silverware bought at flea market. Cleaned one up and....WOW! I think it's silver! Even though they are all similar in design, they are all stamped differently: PITKIN........SC & CO (this is cleaned one)..........NE CRITTENDEN.......HS BRADLEY (this one also has what appears to be a head). Think they are silver? Time period? Valuable? For time period or silver content? Can I ask that? Should I take them to someone, like an appraiser? I've had them for a few years, and decided it's time to know. DUH, THANKS FOR SUGGESTING PICS OF NAMES!!!!!

One of the best places to sell antiques is on eBay after you have IDed them. The best place to find value is also eBay.

Welcome to Treasurenet!
As the handles aren't particularly fancy, I'd think they might be "coin silver". I've had spoons similar and that's what was stamped on them. You might get some additional information at a web site called "Replacements". http://www.replacements.com/silver/manu/a.htm

There should be some kind of marking on the spoons to indicate if they are silver or plated. I am not that familiar with them though. I cleaned up one with silver polish my wife inherited and it was plated. Monty

Coin and higher silver spoons have thin bowls. Nickle silver is usually thicker. From what I can see you have both nickle silver and real silver. If all else fails your local jeweler may be able to help.
