the last image has a real nice example of a spokeshave
they were used for stripping the bark from the wood when making arrow shafts and the like
also removing rough spots and then following up with a shaft abrader
the first two look like they were used like that also but the 3rd one is the one i like the best

All three have spokeshaves or shaftscrapers, the first two appear to be multipurpose with knife edges on the opposite edge...three nice tools.
 

thanks guys i appreciate u shining a light on that for me . like i said i had my ideas and i was right on this time but it sure is nice hear it from a group as insightful as u all. i have got nothing but good info from u guys. thanks again
