I have tried many times to get a shot of the spider like the frist one you posted but they are so small that it has been impossible for me to get an in focus one. All of them are good!

YELLOW spider

Wow! The first picture of the spider really made my heart race! I have a couple of pictures that I think might be the same kind of spider. (If I can fathom how to post them. I haven't tried to post any pictures here yet.) NOPE! Can't figure out how to load the pictures!! Can someone tell me how to get a photo into a reply?

Can anybody tell me what kind of spider the first pictures shows?

spinybacked orbweaver??? but to me it looks like a tick that could do it all.

Thanks, Tamrock! I'm reading/watching the video on how to post pictures. When I can, I'll post a couple of pictures of one of these spiders.

pictures

POTO0186.JPGPOTO0187.JPGHere are a couple of pictures of the spider that I took back on 2007. These were taken in the yard back in Texas the morning we (my son and I) left Texas for Idaho. I have never seen even a picture of one of these spiders before. That's my son's hand used for a backdrop. Since I have a name of the spider now from Tamrock, I can research it.
