Spider button

Found this down about 6 inches in a private yard of an early 1800's house. Any ideas on what kind of button it is, and or how old? Can;t see any back marks on it. Thanks.

Could be late 19th century but I'm guessing as I have never seen one.

Just as I suspected! Spiderman is a lot older than the comic book implies!

Yup...and before spandex he had to button his costume...

Very cool. Victorian era about 1870's.....they were popular again during the Art Deco period.....
