Me and my buddy went out for 4 days and traveled to Tennessee and back hunting as we went..
This was my coin take for those 4 days.
and pictures of some of the places we went..
Some were productive some were not so much..
A real regret we had was going when school was still in session, we left on a Wednesday, and returned on a Saturday, giving us only Saturday to hunt schoolyards..

So that is what ? about $7 cash for 4 days ? and we spent maybe $200 each for hotels and meals..
He did find that Gold Ring, tests to 10k, and is heavy as sht... 14.5 grams with stone...

The ring is not marked and can anyone tell us what kind of stone that is ? Purple-ish ?
I offered him $500 so he will make up a little ground..

Plus 3 silver dimes and 12 wheats, from various places.. one is a 1925 merc. one a 1952 rosie and a 1964 rosie..

plus

33 dimes, 13 quarters, 10 nickels, 65 pennies,

Another question for you treasurenet sleuths.. is there a way to tell the gold weight from the stone weight ?
I'm thinking that stone although its big, probably doesn't weigh as much as gold does, so is there a way to tell how much the stone weighs compared to the gold content of the ring ?

I would say you had a fantastic trip and also a lot of fun. GREAT PICTURES ALSO !!!
Thank you for sharing with us

Something else, it must be the lighting because the 64 Rosie and the 25 Merc look like silver in my hands, I don't know why they look like that in the pictures..
