Spencer Carbine Casing

[Old Pueblo]

Found this old rimfire bullet casing on an Arizona ranch. Im not sure what it is, but I think in might be from a Spencer carbine from around the time of the Civil War? Can anyone confirm this? The old minnie ball is just there for comparison.

Hi, It,s a 56-50 Spencer case for sure. Any sign of a headstamp on the head? If so we could tell who made it.

Thank you all for the information. There does not appear to be a headstamp. I looked well, but didnt see anything except the dent from the pin. Thanks again
