I went to the monthly hospital rummage sale this morning . i couldn't figure how to open the orange case while I was there , but it was heavy and marked Stern Swiss - figured it was something good , yup - a surveying scope .
I thought the cast iron Spear Head thing was maybe a tile cutter - nope a tobacco cutter .

a neat old kerosene buggy light . Some old oil cans . c clamps . tin snips . whiskbroom , and a Camillus jack knife .
The man glanced at my box of stuff and said ''how about ten bucks '' ....Sold

Nice! Spear Head Tobacco Plug Cutter

I saw Spear head and tobacco cutter and automatically thought tobacco knife and spear, the ones used to cut tobacco and spear it on a stick in the field. Brought back memories of my youthful stint as a migrant laborer working in the fields in Kentucky. 6 stalks to a stick paid 8 to 10 cents a stick back then. Just like this guy is doing-

Is there a name on that Lamp around the lens bezel? Or perhaps a half round mounting bracket on the back of it.

I only ask because it looks just like a Swiss Military bicycle lamp from way back in the day and is small enough to be one.

Nice cutter by the way; I bet you could sell that for at least 10 bucks. Plenty of folks out there like me who hate the chew prices and grow our own now.

The only mark I can find is on the lens , It's embossed with the word JEFFERSON .
It seem kind of big for a bicycle .
