Spark plug?

I assume this is a spark plug. If so can anyone put a date to it, or know what it would have Been used in?

What you may have is a core similar to the Champion 3X 2 piece take apart sparkplug. These were specially made for the Ford Model A.
Apparently, they produced 2 piece plugs for easy cleaning, and you could even by extra cores as seen in the ad below.
