Sorry if the pics don't show up....ClubPhoto can be lame.... Here's some more pics.... hope they show up....

JW, not the old adobe site, but in the same county!!

Yeah, this site's goin' to be awesome!!

Here's some of the 'other stuff' that I found......

There's a 1946 wheatie, a double-rimfire cartridge shell marked "US", a few shotgun shells, bullets, stamped-foil items, a lamp base?, misc. buttons, a glass trade bead I eyeballed.......

And... a hollow gold piece of jewelry, about an inch long, probably a women's hair barette?

Very nice finds, good luck with your site.... :)

Do I see "HIB" on the top of the second (unidentified) coin? If so, it could be part of the "...ET HIB" legend on an old British coin. Is the other side of it featureless?

I can see the pictures now! I'm on a different computer, I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Both our computers are having little glitches, I suspect a virus maybe. Those are really awesome finds! I'm really interested in seeing if you find out what that coin can be! You'll have to go by any impressions you can make out. Just be REALLY careful cleaning it!! ;D :P

Welcome to the forum Rowdy. I did not get to see the pics. They came out as red Xed pics for me. But it sounds like from the reaction of other members that you certainly had a great outing.

Congratulations,

Postalrevnant

Well, for those that can't see the pics, I'll add them to the post.

I think it's probably the "HIS" of "•HISPAN•" as on the 2 reales shown above it.
