Spanish Reale ID help

Hey guys,

Dug my first Spanish Reale along the coast of a river here in Charleston, SC. The sea water has done a number on it, however I am hoping there is enough detail to identify the time frame and mint. It is silver and 20mm in diameter. Thanks for the help

The 20 mm diameter certainly makes it a 1 real coin.

Thanks Mack, unfortunately the area just below the bust has weathered away and with it the exact date.

With the shield and columns design, I believe the coin predates 1822.

The coin appears to have an "HJ" assayer's initials. That would be found on the 1 real from the reign of Fernando VII. More specifically, the HJ assayer's mark appears only on F VII's 1R coins from 1810-1816.
