Spanish? Holy Supper 3D Pressed Brass 23" x 14"

I found this at an auction a few years ago. It is really cool and I know it is a picture of the last supper. I really just would like to know when it was made and where it was used. It measures 23" x 14" and is 3D. It looks like Brass and it has been pressed with a solid design. There are no markings other than it says "Santa Cena De Jesus". There is not a hole to hang it with on the back. The back is really dark it looks like it was scorched or something maybe soot from a fire place??

If anyone has any guesses or knows what it is I would really like to know.

It's known as a "repousse", meaning "formed in relief, as a pattern on metal, by pressing or hammering on the reverse side"...or a "relief", "the projection of a figure above the ground or plane on which it is formed".

The listings from the above link show sellers with similar ones; however, they are titled "Ultima Cena De Jesus". In translating the Spanish/Portugese, they were believed to be about 40-50 years old and were suggested to be hung in the dining room or "special place" to honor Jesus.

The tag in one of the pictures, "Artevigo", suggests "Art of/from Vigo"...with Vigo being a a city and municipality in Galicia, Spain.

Any reference to an artist "M. Registrado" referred to on these links leads to no artist found by that name. Instead, it probably is Spanish for "manufacturer registration", or what we know as "trademark".

Unfortunately, I found nothing titled exactly "Santa ...". All were "Ultima...". Hope this helps you in your search !

Thanks for the help. I am pretty sure this one is solved. I was not looking for an exact match and the info above explained alot, I did not try the link you posted DCMatt, I appreciate you warning me about it. I mainly was just curious what the pressing was called and it's approximate age and both were answered above. This Website and it's Members are Awesome!!

There were brass plaques made FOR fireplace hearths in many different designs (hence maybe the soot look). As far as the saying underneath, It may be Spanish for "Santa is now in charge of my birthday"!

'Santa cena de Jesus'--holy supper of Jesus. My family calls it 'Ultima cena de Jesu Cristo'--last supper of Jesus. It's a very nice work.

3D Last Supper

[[I just bought this at the Goodwill in Folsom CA for $4.99. It measures 12.5inch by 18.5inch. Said to be silver plated.
Having trouble finding info about it. I will try to post a pic and a link I found relevant. Sorry in advance if I fail, this is my first post...and I find the website difficult on my mobile device. I have no computer atm.
