Hi all,
I was detecting at a state park and they had drained the swimming area. I found this in the muck about 10 inches down and it was sitting on a large rock down there. I am guessing it is a Spanish cob. It measures about an inch in diameter and weighs 3.8 grams. If anyone knows what this is, that would be great.

Thanks,
Scott

That thing screams "novelty" coin. Can't really call it a counterfeit since it's so obvious it wouldn't fool anyone. If you peel the foil off is it chocolate inside ? LoL And welcome. Keep looking, the good stuff is out there. PS... I'm going to assume you know all this and are just messin with us since you titled your picture "cob copy".... :happysmiley:

Welcome scottdoo! I too think it's not genuine. The thing to do is to test it with an acid kit.

Yea, I guess so. But, hope springs eternal...
Anyway, the chocolate was a little stale.
