Spanish Cob - real or fake?

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and this is my first post.

I recently inherited part of a coin collection and i believe 2 of the coins are Spanish Cob, pillar and waves type. Does any one know how to tell if they are real and if so what their value could be. The first 2 pics are of the front and back of the first coin and the next 2 are of the second

Bad pics make it harder, but there's nothing that stands out to me to call them fake. It looks like they were exposed to salt water for many years, then probably cleaned. Without a shipwreck connection value wouldn't be a whole lot.

The top one looks real like the ones we have found on the beach. The second one looks like it was hammered out of slag, which would make it hard to get the weight right. It could still be real, I just haven't seen that. Maybe someone else could help? Tony

Seing as they arn't valuable, an easy way of telling if they are Silver :P is to apply some Bleach to a small area, it should turn Black in that spot and will not harm the coin

Is there any way, based on what is visible still, to determine what year they were minted? I know (based on some google searching) that the pillars and waves type coin was minted from 1651 to 1773. I see that one coin looks like it says 29. Does that imply that it was minted in 1729? Thanks for the help everyone

Both appear as authentic; washed in the sea for some time-as noted above.
Both are 8-reales. Bottom coin might be 1699. Mint appears as a "P" Potosi on bottom coin.
