I know this is the question thats annoying as all hack but I have a gt on the way and was wondering what type of result gt users have got on coin depth in mild soil. The machine I am getting is used and comes with a EQ2 14" coil and a sunray s-8. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

The Sovereign gets good depth equal to the explorer or any detector out there..

I have taken victorian copper pennies at over 20"+ from the wet salt sand in the uk, pound coins easily at 18", that's using the 15" WOT coil, the only coil for the wet sand in my opinion, gt sens maxed out, in disc, notch and disc set to minimum, volume full, threshold just audible, pick the feint repeatable targets from the falsing, sometimes slightly broken but repeatable, that will be the deep stuff..........
