Sov GT vs AT Pro

In a single word, NO. The only detector so far that matches the GT in performance is the Excal. The AT Pro was designed to be a do all type thing so it is not the best for saltwater wet sand at most places while the GT excels there and in the dirt for coins, relics and such. Those that have use a Sovereign will back me up on this. The Pro uses one frequency while the GT uses 17 that gives a great info with the tones to id the target unlike a visual display that shows id numbers that are only the conductivity reading. GT has Iron Mask on/off that reports on a gold ring under a nail unlike a Pro that gives one reading without seeing the ring. GT has interchangable coils with a standard fitting where the Pro you need to have your coil use their fitting. WOT coils aren't made for the AT Pro. Also Sunray makes the S-1 inline probe for the Sov GT which is like a 1" coil with a range of up to 7" and runs off the detectors circuits.
