Sov. GT hip or chest mount

Go to an Army Navy Surplus store and find a hip bag (i.e.binocular case) that is sized for the Sovereign and either attach to a web belt ot on your own. Cheap about $10 -12

I use the black Minelab hip mount bag. It hangs fairly awkwardly and the head phone jack makes it hard to close the top. I secured the coil cord with a velcro cable keeper ( from a camera store) to the strap clip to protect the cable connection. If it starts to rain I can pull my coat over the bag as it does not protect it enough otherwise. Army surplus sell "dump bags" that others use, but they have pockets and zippers that might get bulky.

Minelab makes a hip mount bag or it can be neck mounted. I like the neck mount myself.

I just paid a whopping $1 to one of the asian vendors at the flea market for a pack of 2 knee supports. Just need to find a pair of suspenders and I'll have 2 for about 5 bucks.
