Looking for information on possible shipwrecks in the waters off of the Southwest Florida coastline. If any one has any information, or links, please pass them along. I new to the area, and to the hobby. I'm intrigued by the local history of this area.

Thanks for any information on this topic!

Theres a good recently updated book called "Shipwrecks of Florida" (second edition) by Steven D. Singer that has more than enough wrecks to see and search for the rest of your life. The book takes the state in sections and each part including the west Florida listings has hundreds of wrecks. Instead of the "Sunshine State" it should be called the "Shipwreck State"..lol.

Another good book is :ENCYCLOPEDIA OF AMERICAN SHIPWRECKS by BRUCE D. BERMAN .I think there's one on amazon .com for $12.86.
