southern missouri prospecting?

anyone done any panning around McDonald county missouri? I'm around the Neosho/Noel area, looking for tips where to put my pan. (creeks or other water sources) Another question...I have an older garrett MD, a treasure ace 100, I also have a whites 5900 DI md. would either of these be good for nugget hunting?
