Hello, have not posted in a very long time; ALOT of obstacles ::) Moved back south from Joplin, Mo. exactly one week to the day before the tornado hit. Anyway, Moved back home & have had some luck bottle digging, mainly 1880's / 1890's stuff, but it will get older; iron bitters, doyles hop bitters, icy blue hutch, rheumatic dissolvent, etc. Thanks for looking!!!

Those are some nice bottles. That whiskey with the embossed horse is a pretty cool looking bottle. Good luck next time out. DD.

Nice bunch of bottles, old glass is always nice to look at and to hold. :coffee2:

A lot of nice bottles there, but I think my favorite item is the Moerleins jug-lager. Great recoveries there!

Got yourself a few dollars worth of bottles right there. Nice finds. I love it, keep em coming. jgas

Christian Moerlein's brewery at the Hudepohl Schoenling in Cinci was around and in business until about six years ago. I loved their beer, and bought up all the extra cases I could find when they closed. They also made a crappy beer named Burger, which was six or seven dollars for a 24 pack of cans when I was in college. That is a wonderful beer bottle.

Here are a good historical photo or two to go with your find.

Nice bottles, I love reading about bottle digs. It's crazy they can be in the ground for so long and stay in good shape.
