Was able to get out twice in past 1 1/2 weeks. Water a bit rough last week so mostly hunted wet sand a a bit in shallows against the beach. Four hour hunt netted much trash, six-cents and no bling. Tryed again yesterday for eight hours... went back to beach where--2 weeks ago-- I found 4 rings in 4 hours and loads of clad. Found both beach and rock-exposed shallows now heavily sanded. Guess many of the beaches are now getting back to the blase conditions. At least the performance of the old Excal 1 with rebuilt pod was stellar.

SD, I can say a couple of things about your post.

First you got to get out and enjoy the beach (I can't find the ground for snow right now). My new detector is anxious to get out and play!

Second you are cleaning the beaches making them safer for the kiddies little bare feet. I remember when I was a kid like 50 years ago going to the beach and cutting my feet on pull tabs. I think the folks working the beaches really do a public service by removing such things.

Keep up the good work and HH.
