South Carolina trip

My wife bought me a relic hunting trip for Christmas in SC. On day one I found and dug my 1st trash pit on a plantation site. It was filled with oyster 3 1/2 foot square and 3 foot deep. The oysters were about 15 inches thick.



We finished out the day on a property next to a artillery position and dug all iron targets , no artillery but still fun.



On day 2 we started off at a freeman site and I got a really nice Eagle I cuff and a few other relics. The 2nd site was a plantation that I got a Eagle I coat and other relics.

What a great Christmas gift any metal detecting person would enjoy. You sir are a lucky man. Nice finds. It looks like you got a smorgasbord of hunting. Buttons and lead life is good!

Making a comment like that might just pay in dividends . All kidding aside, what an awesome thing for your wife to do for you. Not sure mine would be motivated to enable my already all consuming addiction.

(Mine has a hunter jumper warm blood addiction so relic hunting keeps me out of her hair and me out of mucking stalls...
