Thanks NC field hunter. Any ideas on point shape name. Is it a Palmer or Rowan or something else? Not very familiar with arrowheads. Yes, Charleston is a lot of fun!
 

I was waiting for him to respond but for what its worth it looks like a Halifax to me.
NC is much closer to you so maybe he has some better info
 

I'm thinking Gator's call is a good one. Halifax points have a couple of variants. This point fits the mold pretty good. Nice find!!

This is the most common Halifax variant found in Halifax VA.

Man! That looks familiar.. I think I wound up with its twin. Probably from the same spot.

I think you actually wound up with that piece, not a twin! Lol! Good to see old finds on the big screen! I'm not sure if you knew that Halifax was found in Halifax VA. I think Halifax VA. Is the namesake of those points.
