Hey hey diggers !
Just throwing an update out there.
I had a few hunts over the last week that added up to about five or six hours total swing time.
Not too many earth shattering finds for me lately but I have been noticing a trend. My last few hunts have been producing crusty large cents and religious medals of all things. I had a couple from a couple of weeks ago and with my recent outings I now have a collection!
Included is an enamel maple leaf pin with a crown atop..I want to say these are military. I believe these were given to Canadians that were serving for Britain during the World Wars just to distinguish those soldiers specifically from Canada.
And of course, the kings..Edward, his son George, and his son , also George . Nice selection of silver coins from the first half of the last century and I put in a tombac issue from WWll...a 1943 victory 5 cent piece...I hardly ever find these!

Until next time...I gotta do some research and get on some of those older places...I need a token fix!
I'll been glad to see more crops coming out and some flat buttons under the coil !

I seem to find my share of religious pendants and such as well but one thing I don't find enough of are old silver Canada coins! The "V nickel" is cool as well.
Thanks for posting and continued success up there.

Some nice relics and coins. Congrats on the finds.

Older Canadian coins are always interesting to this Canadian. You have found a nice assortment!
