Been so hot here i decided to clean some previous finds.
I know Sonora made chimes, phonographs and early am radios since the 1900`s in New York.
There motto was clear as a bell.
It looks like it says Argyle as a model which i`ve not been able to find on line.
I do see it says check for patent number affixed to the instrument. (Bummer)
It does look like it was in a fire.
I`ve tried a 1 hour vinegar bath and a 24hour soak in cooking oil and i still can`t remove the rust covering up the good parts.
Any ideas on further cleaning methods and date of manufacture or what it was on would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your reply`s in advance everyone. HH

PS: I enjoy looking at everyone's finds.
