Hi there. My name is Amanda and my almost 7 year old son is fascinated by rocks and digging for treasure. His grandma bought him a professional metal detector last Christmas that he used all summer long and now with Christmas coming back around I've been looking into what I can get for him related to his passion/hobby. I was thinking a nice rock hammer and someone suggested Estwing. Then I got to thinking that I don't even know if there is anything good around me for him to break open. I live in North Central CT near tons of lakes, rivers and mountains but I don't think we even have geodes around here. Can anyone let me know what kind of things I might be able to find for him to break open? lol.
