Somewhat New Member, near Sanford

I want to get back into MD'ing and I am looking for a buddy for coin shooting, relic hunting or beach combing. I have been a member for a few years now but been on hiatus the last couple of years. I actually live south of Sanford in Western Harnett County, but I am willing to travel.

I have a Garrett Ace 250, a BH Lone Star and a BH Land Star.

I am thinking about asking land owners to detect around home sites, anyone have any luck with old home sites or is there too much trash?

Welcome aboard. We have a new MDing club started in Greensboro. Too far away for you but we are here.

Yes, if you get permission, and be sure and do that, old house sites can turn up a lot of stuff. You are also close to an area where there was activity during the War of Northern Aggression. Do some research about what happened around your area. Go to the library and look up local history.

New 2012 Gold Rush is on in SE Greensboro area. :-) be among the first to get in on it Woo haaa before I get it all for myself he he he Hi I'm Robert Way Just started a new small business in SE Greensboro. I cover a range of activity from Panning in troffts at the city park to Exstracting gold for private property owners. I have a mobile unit to take panning to any event as well as a stream for guided outtings. On my days off I hit the streams myself and as of today have never goen out and not found some color. I'm looking to try starting a club as well and maybe get some people together to go out hunting down some serious color on some of the local streams. I'm new to everything as this is only my second year at prospeting and spent the first 4 months of that collecting fools gold lol.
