Today was the first chance I had to look over my Dad's property in Ruckersville, Va.
I guess with this sport and hobby, you just have to laugh sometimes.
My first finds of the year included:
1 washer
1 small screw
3 very old nails where there was a barn a long time ago.
So....Nothing special, but hey, it is what it is.LOL
No pictures as of yet. I don't have a way to do that since my Nice Digital Camera was stolen but that will change.
Oh Well

Hang in there and keep it low and slow! :skullflag:

Relic hunting is where it's really at but when I need a moral boost, coin shooting a tot lot is a sure thing...

This hobby has a funny way of giving you a great find when you're starting to feel like there's no hope. Stick with it

Banner ! You've found more than I have so far this year. I'm still waiting for the field across the street to be plowed so I can ask the farmer for permission. He's got 200 acres. That should keep me busy.

I echo what NHBandit said, at least you were able to get out and do some detecting. We're still buried and frozen up here in NY. If your Dad's property goes back a number of years I wouldn't give up on it quite yet, there's bound to be some coins there somewhere. Good luck.
