Hi,
I am trying to figure out what this thing is that my uncle found today. It's made of pewter and it has like a floral design maybe? On the front and two possible areas where 2 pins held this thing maybe? Not too sure on this one yet. If anyone has info on it, be sure to post it. Thanks! TheButtonKing

Looks like the brass decorations that are from horse halters and martingails. Are you sure its pewter?

I think in the past these have been ID'ed as strap ends. The "Prince of Wales" feather plume (similar to a fleur de lis) had some trying to attribute them to certain regiments and such, but they are too common and widely found for any specific group. Looks great in any collection though.
