Something went bang in the night !!!

I put the bar sign on top of the down stairs toilet cistern, fixing it with three very big blobs of blue tack. At about 12.30 that night was awakened by a loud crash. The sign had fallen off on to the tiled floor. The black paint in places had fractured revealing the original gold embossed finish underneath. Lucky or unlucky, certainly the noise did not impress the wife .
