I for one haven't been detecting for a little while because down near St. Louis, the ground is hard as a rock. But since people have been clamoring for new posts...

I had a little down time while in Springfield while working the State Fair (as a State Trooper, not a carnie..) so I headed to a local park for a few hours. Digging was tough, but found this Cub Scout Neckerchief slide, as well as a few frustrating 1965 quarters. I remember my wolf scout neckerchief slide being all gold in color, but I suppose they have all changed over the years.
