I found this in Pine Cove Park near Idyllwild, California. It was down about 4" between two very large boulders, which were separated from each other by about 20", so I'm guessing it's been there a while.
It is definitely a pendant of some type, and my first thought was that it was worn by an east Indian girl but I could be wrong. The pendant appears to be hand made mostly out of brass or copper, and measures 4 1/2 inches high. It certainly was made to jingle!
No markings or dates or lettering of any kind, front or back.
Any ideas?
