Hey!!! Conrats! You're not a REAL detectorist til you have either dug up a pipe in someone's yard, pinpointed your steel toe boot or found a Three merry widows container! :-)

Or waved handfuls of dirt over your coil for an hour wondering where the target went until you realize you're wearing a watch...which happened to me the other day..lol

Started wearing my watch on my RIGHT hand while detecting after pulling THAT one myself.

Even the most intelligent people can have a brain fart every now and again :)

Just be thankfull you was'nt wearing the Three merry widows :tongue3:

I had a wheat back cent stick with a small piece of dirt on the back of my hand digger one time that drove me bonkers for about 10 minues.
:icon_scratch:
Is your digger made out of metal or plastic?

metal, predator..You have never had to clean a clod of dirt from the backside of yours? Up near the top of the handle where the metal ends and the handle starts..How about stabbed a pull tab etc?
