Someone said that the Fed government was removing silver coins? Link to msg?

Doesn't anyone remember that message?

I don't remember seeing that message in the short time I have been on this forum. But if they are removing the silver they appear to not be doing a very good job in that people here seem to be finding lots of it.

It would be possible though if they really wanted to and spent the resources to develop the technology. I believe there are slight variations in the weights of the 90s, 40s and clad with respect to their mint state. Although after circulation the weight would probably be reduced by wear and tear and this would affect the weight calculations.

If the sorting cannot be done by machine, then I doubt it is being done. No way they are going to pay
people to sit and sort through thousands and thousands of halves per day looking for silver coins.

I think that the coin rolling companies love CRHs because it gives them job security. Eventually they will increase their fees to the banks because of the large increase in coin orders-especially halves.

It's been talked about on here but I don't know where the thread is. I don't believe it any how............and my boxes prove it.

I don't think that it is the gov taking all of the silver out of halves supply. It is LJ and Silver Fox who are doing it.
