Was in the market on Thursday evening and I saw some coins on the ledge (shelf) of the coinstar machine. I was able to tell as I got closer that one of the coins was silver.

Found a 1944 merc, a 1963D FDR dime, a 1941 wheat, 22c in clad, 300 Pesos from Colombia, and a British farthing from 1896 (Queen Victoria). While the farthing isn't worth much (maybe 30-40c), it was the coolest of the finds.

People have silver and they just leave it there - they don't even know or care.

I left it there. I can send you my address to mail it to me.

your everyday person wanting to cash in their change just are not all aware of what a silver rosie is, and the merc probably looks like foreign or play money to them.....we though, are not your average people.

Can't beat free silver and an oldie.
Too easy for folks just dump and run.

Too bad the Farthing isnt in better condition.... in great shape they sell on average for 75 plus.
