Someone from Rhode Island

I want to thank you all for your warm welcome and tons of help and advice! I am learning more and more each time I visit here and apply it to my little area in the world. I guess I'm lucky that there is not many Metal Detectives here in Rhode Island so I have the whole state pretty much to myself, only for now though- I have competition creeping up though I see in Connecticut and Massachusetts so I had better get cracking!

I'm a Realtor here and as I research properties for people, it gives me opportunity to poke around and see places that I wouldn't have driven by on my own so I'm happy for that.

Thanks again for all the help you all have given me!

Welcome to the forum Bev :icon_thumleft:. Rhode Island has some history, get all the good stuff before you get invaded by the others. Good Hunting.

A realtor with a metal detector?

Isn't that like a license to steal? I am sure that you can definitely convince prospective sellers into letting you hunt their properties before they are sold.

It is nice to put a pretty face with a name!

Good luck!

Bob

Hello from Pennsylvania. New to the site myself, seems informative to me so far, and the people seem very friendly.
:headbang: and happy hunting

Hello Bev and Welcome to T-net :icon_sunny: Did you like the Jim Carey movie that was set in Rhode Island? Very Beautiful Scenery :icon_thumleft: Paul :coffee2:

Lots of history in R.I., No need for you to hunt Mass. ;D Welcome........THE HOGGE

WELCOME =)

Nice to find another lady here ;)

All the ugly ladies must log into another site because we don't have any on this one! :icon_thumleft:
Where do I have to go to find an ugly woman?
Oh well, think I'll go raise some hell in the "Religion" room. ;D

Welcome Bev. Lots of information on this website. A lot of it true, and a lot of it we just like to believe in. Packerbacker, if you're into ugly women, come with me to Caddo County, Oklahoma, and there's bars with ladies you can't drink pretty. Course, they're too busy tryin to drink us handsome, I suppose.

:hello: welcome to T NET Bev... Its always nice to see someone close to NH. I have yet to post my mug 'cause I gotta figure out how First. HH and I hope we get to see some nice finds. Jack

That's all - you are the best!
I'm the only digger in my whole family and they think I'm insane! I love the combination of digging and real estate. It once brought me to a beautiful 1750's house but found way too many shotgun shells and ran out of time!
I'm hoping RI will be good to me and show me where the good stuff is- No competition out here for sure!
Sorry- been married for going on 10 years now but my husband will tell you it feels like forever! :laughing7:

Welcome Bev. Tell your hubby forever don't feel like frog fur split four times. And that is mighty fine Cause that is what I am thinking your might feel like. Be well happy hunts places! Welcome
Rutnbuck.

Thanks so much- I've having a lot of fun. In my travels I think I've educated some and gave the bug to others. Some I've inspired to get theirs out of the garage loft where it was abandoned years before.
Good, but bad because now I have more competition and I like having Rhode Island All to MYSELF !!! >:D

Hello Bev :hello: The second I saw your picture I took a
double-take, because you look exactly like Faith Hill! :icon_thumright:

Good luck in your "house hunting".
Dave

Whoa, not quite- I can't hold a candle to her! Besides I've gone a bit brunette for the winter!

Now Bev, I think we all know that Faith isn't a true blond.
Of course Tim's the only one that knows her real hair color! :laughing7:

You guys are so sweet! I appreciate it and love this site. Metal detecting is like playing the slots, you never know what's going to pop up!

My limited knowledge of Rhode Island is that is off New York somewhere? (I'm an Aussie) I would have thought there would be dozens of detectorists around there. At least txconservative emerged so you know about her now. My wife just had her hair done that colour and I love it.

Welcome to T'net
