Someone at goodwill doesn't know what Sterling means.

My local goodwill overprices anything silver stamped 925. Example, a broken bracelet , guessing that it weighs 3-4g they have it priced at $5. I was surprised to find this bangle. Stamped sterling, if it was stamped 925 they probably would have wanted $40-$50. It weighs 44gs, paid $8 plus tax.

That must be the key word then. I just bought 8 plates at goodwill this weekend marked sterling too. We probably shouldn't tell them though!

I grabbed my first thrift store silver yesterday. A little earring just one had 92 and you couldn't tell last number. .25 cents if they had it at 925 been 5 bucks.

They sure know what Sterling or .925 means at the Goodwill where I live. They price the stuff like it is gold! Great score for you!.....Good luck!........Scott.

The bracelet is beautiful. Have you checked their on line sales? They're on the lookout for super nice collectors items...they pick through it all & then put it on this site to get a better price. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/

Thanks everyone.

What do you guys think a bangle like this is worth? I might just sell it if I could get 2x melt.

All the goodwills in my area send any video game of value to shopgoodwill. Started about 2 maybe 3 yrs ago. All that's left are crappy sports titles.
