Didn't plan to detect today, had too many errands that I've been blowing off. Went and did them, but made sure the detector was in the car. Stopped at a place that I've detected before, with so-so luck. Got a worn 1903 V, a nice 1916-D penny, and another Lone Ranger radio premium. Second one in a month. Also started what turned out to be several zinc pennies wrapped in tin foil. Don't know what sick, demented person thought of doing this, but they must be stopped. Nothing like getting your two favorite things to dig up all at once! the dog whistle was kinda cool, can't wait to try it out. The big bullet is a 30 cal, new one for me. thanks for looking,
Carl

Thanks. if only it was a Merc, or two years earlier, I would have been screaming!

How many times do you get to type "Butternut" and its not part of a sick joke. :tongue3:

I haven't dug a "V" nickel in a very long time. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet diggs curbdiggercarl57,
I am heading in to Denver today toget a little hunting in, make room for me I wat to get some of the cool stuff before you clean it all up.
Denver Nugget

nice finds! i'm going out in denver this weekend for many, many, many, many, many, many hours and plan to slay the soil with my little yellow buddy- please save me something cool. HH

Yoy know who it was that buried the zinc's dont you?? it was the shadow lurker playing games.

Great finds.

By far the best find was the dog whistle. Tested it out on a dog that was yapping like crazy, stopped him dead in his tracks. Do they make them for humans?

Around here we have Butternut bread! I don't know how that would be a sick joke! and it has nothing to do with squash!!!
